Humble Beginnings
My journey through the resplendent world of photography humbly began with a love for nature, landscapes, and adventure. As I trek to become the best photographer I can be, I always find comfort in pausing – being one with my camera, and one with the Earth. People say to be present in every moment, so I do what I can to freeze those moments and preserve them!
I am a firm believer that every day and every moment is but a pixel that makes up “The Bigger Picture”.

As my journey continued on, I found beauty in what some would call the mundane. Through the viewfinder of my camera, my eyes began to focus on more details… different details. I found beauty hidden along the lines of the architecture around me. Patterns in the placement of things I found to be pleasing to the eye. The beautiful moments hidden in plain sight of everyday life.
I learned to refine my craft and allowed myself to compose photographs in different ways than I was once used to.
PORTRAITS
Years went by and I found myself struggling with capturing another major element in life’s everyday moments: the people we experience them with. I grew comfortable collecting shots of the inanimate. I once thought photographing people was a skill I didn’t need – I figured it was someone else’s job.
That was until I experienced the loss of my third grandparent by sixteen years old. I witnessed and experienced the fragility of life, and the importance of portraits that can keep our friends or family with us – even posthumously! On my journey with photography I encountered such beauty in the twinkles of people’s eyes, and in the corners of their smiles. Fond memories, minuscule or not, caught and kept forever.
EVENTS
My photographic journey carries on, and I unceasingly found ways to create a brand for myself. My newest adventures have taken me to the world of event photography. An intersection of my love for detailed shots and life’s special moments.
Alongside my sister’s achievements as a successful event planning business owner, I have been able to shadow the best photographers in the biz while gaining hands-on event experience.
Although it took a few years to attain and accept the title of “Professional photographer”, my journey does not end here. As I traverse the world creating “The Bigger Picture”, I remain tenacious in capturing the authentic moments that make life beautiful.
